Out of all the procedures performed with outstanding results at each Diamond Vision clinic, the KAMRA Inlay procedure is relatively new and gained the FDA’s approval in April 2015. It was developed as a solution for those that suffer from presbyopia (gradual loss of near vision due to age). As we age, the naturally elastic and flexible lens in our eye that adjusts and focuses light begins to stiffen, which causes blurry vision. The KAMRA Inlay is an implantable mini-ring lens with a tiny hole that allows light to pass through and focus correctly to improve near vision. The best part about this procedure is that patients are able to maintain their distance vision as well.
What our Eye Surgeons Say about KAMRA Inlay
“This is a visual solution for their lifetime,” Dr. Steven Stetson of Diamond Vision says. Diamond Vision clinics are some of only a few clinics that offer the KAMRA Inlay procedure and Dr. Stetson and his team of eye surgeons are extremely satisfied with the results they have seen. “We’re just so excited about this procedure… I feel very confident about it.”
